Graduation Dinner Menu

Three Course Menu - $60 per person

 First Course (Please choose one)

Marinated Olives - Greek, Italian, and Spanish mix

Minestrone Soup - tomatoes, spring vegetables, cannellini beans, and orecchiette pasta

Arancini - Sicilian risotto balls filled with Genoa salami and mozzarella

Artichoke Dip - Blend of goat cheese, Grana Padano and Pecorino Romano cheeses with Italian artichokes and a side of ciabatta bread

Polpettini - house-made meatballs, marinara, fresh mozzarella, Grana Padano

Bruschetta - slices of garlic cheese bread topped with tomatoes, red onion, basil and balsamic

Burrata - artichokes, fire roasted peppers, mixed olives and crostini

House Salad  - mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, carrots, cucumbers, house Italian vinaigrette

Caesar Salad - romaine hearts, croutons, olives, grana padano, house caesar dressing

Mediterranean Salad- mixed greens, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives, red onions, feta, house Italian

Caprese Salad - fresh mozzarella, basil, vine-ripened tomatoes with balsamic reduction, olive oil

Second Course (Please choose one)

Pasta Primavera - penne, broccoli rabe, squash, carrots, zucchini, tomatoes, alfredo sauce

Pasta alla Vivace - Marsala cream sauce, grilled chicken, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, penne

Eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti marinara

Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti marinara

Spaghetti and Meatballs - house made sausage and beef meatballs, marinara, Grana Padano

Orecchiette - orecchiette pasta, house made sausage, broccoli rabe, plum tomatoes, Grana Padano

Gamberi Fra Diavolo - Shrimp and spaghetti in Spicy tomato sauce

Pork Chop - oven roasted rosemary pork chop, mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, demi-glace

Carne - boneless beef short ribs, parmesan polenta, local mushrooms, peas, carrots, gremolata

Third Course (Please choose one)

Graduation Details at Vivace

  • We begin taking Graduation weekend dinner reservations the first business day of the new year.

  • In 2026 we will offer a 3 course meal for $60 per person

  • The menu will be posted above.

  • Most of our seating is upstairs, so please let us know if anyone in your party cannot go upstairs.

  • There is a $20 penalty per guest, for no shows or cancellations 14 days prior to your reservation. You are allowed 1 no-show.

  • These are more rules than we like, but we have found it necessary on graduation weekend to do things a little differently to make sure we can handle the volume of people who want to experience a nice dining experience on the occasion of a college graduation in the family.

  • We have some flexibility within these parameters to help meet special needs of individuals and families with dietary, mobility, schedule, etc., issues, but not much.

  • Of course, if it rains there is little we can do about either the rain or the schedule changes made by UVa; however, we will do our best to be as reasonable and creative as we can to accommodate the necessary changes, and make our patrons happy.

Balsamic Vinegar, San Marzano tomatoes,  Prosciutto di Parma, Sicilian sea salt, 
Carnaroli rice, Sicilian oregano, Calabrian chili and all our dry pasta.
